Intera Telemedicine ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website and provides healthcare consulting and telehealth-adjacent services tailored for tourists and corporate personnel (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy ("Policy") governs your access to and use of our Services and details our protocols regarding the collection, transmission, storage, disclosure, and protection of your Personal Information, Personally Identifiable Information ("PII"), and Protected Health Information ("PHI") as defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA").

BY ACCESSING THE WEBSITE, ENGAGING OUR SERVICES, OR SUBMITTING ANY INFORMATION TO INTERA Telemedicine, YOU EXPLICITLY AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OUTLINED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND CONSENT TO THE DATA PROCESSING PRACTICES DESCRIBED HEREIN. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY CEASE USE OF THE WEBSITE AND SERVICES.

ARTICLE I: DEFINITIONS AND INFORMATION COLLECTED

1.01 Protected Health Information (PHI)

We collect and transmit individually identifiable health information protected under HIPAA regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: clinical intake records, travel health requirements, physiological symptoms, diagnostic evaluations, medical histories, prescription data, and associated healthcare billing metrics.

1.02 Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is capable of being associated with a specific individual. This encompasses legal names, electronic mail addresses, telephonic numbers, physical residential or commercial addresses, date of birth, employer affiliations, corporate credentials, passport or travel documentation, and financial payment processing credentials.

1.03 Electronic Usage and Tracking Data

We automatically log technical data generated during your interaction with our digital infrastructure. This data includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser specifications, operating system attributes, referring/exit pages, timestamps, clickstream tracking, and navigational patterns.

ARTICLE II: METHODS OF DATA COLLECTION

2.01 Voluntarily Provided Information

The Company collects information directly provided by users executing digital intake documentation, registering for corporate or individual consulting tracks, submitting inquiries, scheduling consultation sessions, or corresponding directly with Company representatives.

2.02 Automated Tracking and Analytics

We utilize proprietary and third-party tracking technologies, specifically Google Analytics, to aggregate statistical website usage metrics. These technologies employ "cookies"—alphanumeric identifiers transferred to your device’s storage—to monitor user interaction behavior.

ARTICLE III: THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS & HIPAA SAFEGUARDS

3.01 CharmHealth (Electronic Medical Records System)

The Company utilizes CharmHealth as its primary Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Patient Portal vendor. All clinical consulting archives, digital intake transmissions, telehealth video streams, and patient-provider interactions are processed exclusively within this framework.

  • Statutory Compliance: CharmHealth operates under a formally executed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) in strict alignment with HIPAA Omnibus Rule specifications.

  • Security Controls: Data within CharmHealth is subject to Advanced Encryption Standards (AES) both at rest and in transit, multi-factor authentication, and definitive role-based administrative access restrictions.

3.02 Google Analytics Restrictions

The Company leverages Google Analytics strictly to evaluate macro-level user traffic and optimize interface utility.

  • Data Segregation: The Company enforces structural parameters ensuring no PHI, medical symptoms, or patient identifiers are transmitted to or processed by Google Analytics.

  • User Opt-Out: Users may legally opt out of tracking by utilizing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on provided natively by Google LLC.

ARTICLE IV: AUTHORIZED USE AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

The Company processes and discloses collected data strictly in compliance with HIPAA guidelines, state healthcare privacy laws, and contractual mandates for the following definitive functions:

  • Care Coordination and Consulting: To formulate, deliver, and manage specialized healthcare consulting frameworks for corporate personnel and visiting tourists.

  • Financial Operations: To authenticate, execute, and archive billing transactions, corporate account reconciliations, or insurance claims.

  • Administrative Operations: To facilitate internal quality control assessments, execute employee compliance monitoring, and fulfill enterprise service level agreements.

  • Legal and Regulatory Mandates: To satisfy statutory obligations, court orders, subpoenas, or lawful demands by state or federal regulatory bodies.

The Company explicitly prohibits the selling, leasing, or renting of PII or PHI to third-party entities for marketing or commercial monetization.

ARTICLE V: DATA SECURITY AND INTEGRITY MEASURES

The Company maintains rigorous administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of electronic data. Digital data transmissions on our website are managed via Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption protocol configurations.

Despite these advanced safeguards, no digital data transmission infrastructure or storage platform can be guaranteed completely immune to systemic breach. The Company maintains comprehensive incident response frameworks to satisfy standard statutory data breach notification protocols under federal law should an unauthorized exposure event occur.

ARTICLE VI: STATUTORY RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

Pursuant to federal HIPAA statutes and applicable privacy regulations, users maintain enforceable rights regarding their retained data, including:

  • Right of Inspection and Access: The right to inspect and secure a digital copy of your collected consulting and billing ledger.

  • Right to Amendment: The right to demand correction of inaccurate or incomplete biographical or demographic data entries.

  • Right to Restriction: The right to request specific structural limitations regarding the processing or disclosure of your PHI.

  • Right to Confidential Communication: The right to mandate that communications be executed via specialized, secure channels or discrete alternate addresses.

ARTICLE VII: AMENDMENTS TO THIS POLICY

The Company reserves the right to modify, amend, or rewrite this Privacy Policy at its sole discretion at any time. Any changes will become immediately effective upon the publication of the revised document to the website. The "Last Updated" timestamp at the apex of this document serves as the formal indicator of structural modifications. Continued utilization of the Services following an amendment constitutes explicit acceptance of the revised terms.
